Drop in rules

  • No phones in junior drop in allowed
  • Photography rules for Senior drop in classes: Phones can be used for suitable use only, for example; filming a skill for coaching points or filming a skill achievement. Children must always ask a coach to video the skill on the child’s own phone, and thus ensure there are limited bodies are in the back ground. Phones must be remain in participants bags until this is required. Any participant who brings a mobile phone into the gym does so at their own risk and club will not be held responsible for any loss or damage.
  • TAKE CARE – PARTICIPATION IN THIS ACTIVITY PROVIDES A GREATER DEGREE OF CHALLENGE AND RISK.
  • WE DO NOT PROVIDE DIRECT ASSESSMENT OF INDIVIDUALS’ SKILL LEVELS, ABILITIES, COMPETENCY OR SUITABILITY TO USE THIS ACTIVITY.
  • USE OF THIS ACTIVITY IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
  • YOU MUST BE THE CORRECT AGE FOR THE CLASS
  • FREESTYLE ATHLETES: CLEAN INDOOR TRAINERS MUST BE WORN WHEN USING THIS EQUIPMENT.
  • YOU MUST HAVE BASIC JUMPING AND ATHLETIC ABILITY TO USE THIS EQUIPMENT.
  • YOU SHOULD ONLY USE THE EQUIPMENT IF YOU ARE IN GOOD PHYSICAL CONDITION, ARE CAPABLE AND HAVE THE REQUIRED SKILL SET.
  • KNOW YOUR LIMITS – DO NOT ATTEMPT ANY MOVES BEYOND YOUR OWN SKILL SET.
  • DO NOT ATTEMPT ANY MOVES UNLESS YOU KNOW YOU ARE COMPETENT, CAPABLE AND HAVE THE APPROPRIATE TRAINING AND SKILLS.
  • IF YOU CANNOT COMFORTABLY REACH ANY OF THE EQUIPMENT UNASSISTED IT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR YOUR USE. DO NOT USE.
  • STAND BACK FROM THE EQUIPMENT WHILST WAITING YOUR TURN.
  • ONLY ONE PERSON AT A TIME PER OBSTACLE.
  • DO NOT GO UNTIL THE PATH IS CLEAR.
  • KEEP A LOOK OUT FOR OTHER PARTICIPANTS.
  • PLAN YOUR MOVES BEFORE YOU MAKE THEM.
  • DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MOVE DIRECTLY ABOVE OR BELOW ANOTHER PARTICIPANT.
  • DO NOT JUMP UNTIL THE LANDING ZONE IS CLEAR.
  • KEEP A SAFE DISTANCE BETWEEN OTHER PARTICIPANTS. BE AWARE THEY MAY ATTEMPT A MOVE. RESPECT THEIR SPACE.
  • PARTICIPANTS DOING VERTICAL MOVES HAVE PRIORITY.
  • DESCEND EITHER BY DOWN-CLIMBING OR A CONTROLLED JUMP.
  • ALWAYS REMAIN IN CONTROL. BE AWARE OF HOW TO BEND YOUR KNEES TO CONTROL YOUR LANDING.
  • ALWAYS LAND WITH YOUR FEET AT THE SAME TIME WITH YOUR FEET SPREAD APART.
  • NO DOUBLE FLIPS.
  • DO NOT SIT OR LIE UNDER THE EQUIPMENT.
